Password	Stored only as a salted bcrypt hash — never in plain text — to secure your account.
Consent record	The version of the Terms & Privacy Policy you agreed to, plus the date/time, your IP address, and browser user-agent — kept as proof of consent.
Account activity	Sign-up date and last login time, and the IP address at sign-up, for security and to operate the Service.

Your cube data stays on your device. The cubes you enter, solve, save, or share are processed in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

3. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (cmg_sess) to keep you logged in. It is strictly necessary for the Service to function and is not used for advertising or third-party tracking. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

4. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and let you sign in;
• To operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
• To keep a record that you agreed to our Terms and this Policy;
• To contact you about important changes to the Service or these policies;
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information only: (a) to service providers who host or operate the Service on our behalf, under appropriate confidentiality obligations; or (b) where required by law. If you later choose to sign in with Google, Google will process your sign-in according to its own privacy policy.

6. Data security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and the site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal information, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.
